Sedation Dentist John Eriksmoen, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Eriksmoen has more than thirty years experience in dentistry, combining his Comprehensive Restorative practice with a full service Hospital and Office Sedation practice for the unique requirements of the Special Needs population.  Implant dentistry, sedation dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and general dentistry are combined in one practice at Dr. Eriksmoen's office.

 History

Dr. John P. "Jack" Eriksmoen has been a Newport Beach sedation dentist since 1971. Dr. Eriksmoen was born in Glendale and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1967. He later became a member of the U.S.C. faculty as an Associate Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics. In 1987, he was given the honor of being made a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He continues to lecture in the field of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry and is also an investigator in an FDA Clinical Trial studying Migraine headache prevention.

Dr. Eriksmoen is active in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry for the Handicapped, the American Association of Hospital Dentists, the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is a member of the staff at Hoag Hospital. He devotes a full day each month to an ongoing continuing education seminar on Cosmetic, Reconstructive, and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Eriksmoen has served as Chairman of Continuing Education and several other committees for the Orange County Dental Society, and has been a Peer Review examiner since 1994.
